General Notes
Monticello Appellation wine tours can be reserved 7 days a week.
Each tour books a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 4 guests per tour.
All reservations are charged in full at time of confirmation. Confirmations are sent via email within 24 hours of booking request.
Cheese plate tours are available 7 days a week at the rate of $145 per person.
Food Pairing Tours run Thursday and Friday at the rate of $165 per person
The Lunch Option is available every day except Saturdays
Tours include:
• pick up downtown Charlottesville
• driver/guide to escort you through your tastings
• Bottled water
The daily tours also include a deluxe local cheese, chocolate and fruit plate served at the second winery
The Food Pairing Tours offer specialty cheeses with the first tasting, snacks paired with the wines at the second tasting, and dessert finger foods with the third tasting
A Lunch Option can be added Sunday through Friday. It is not available on Saturdays.
***We regret that we can not include tasting fees in our rates. The wineries have experienced problems with large tour groups showing up hours late for prepaid tastings, causing double bookings, and will not allow any tour company to pay for guest tastings****
Cancellations, including Gift Certificate cancellations, must be made 10 days prior to date of check in for refund, less the $20 credit card processing fees. If cancelled after the 10 day window from check in date or in the case of no show, the guest is responsible for the entire amount of reservation. Should we manage to rebook the seats, refunds will be cheerfully made less the $20 credit card processing fees. There is no exception to this rule.
