Auto Updating with iMagic

iMagic and Availability Online have a two-way interface.  The first function of this interface allows you to automatically update your Availability Online calendar from your iMagic software.  You will not need to login to your Availability Online Administration to update the calendar's availability if you use iMagic.

The second function of the interface allows Availability Online reservation requests to be downloaded into your iMagic software.  You will have the option to Accept or Decline these reservations in iMagic.

To Configure Auto Updating in iMagic
Open your iMagic software

Click Web Bookings then Configure Web Bookings

Use the set up wizard to configure auto updating. When prompted enter your Availability Online username and Master password.

Click Finish when complete

Be sure that all the rooms you would like to appear on your Availability Online calendar are marked to be included in your update. To do this:
Click Configure then Rooms

Select Available Room then click Edit

Place a check mark in the Allow Web Bookings box to include room in your update

Click OK and repeat for all appropriate rooms


To Send an Auto Update to your Availability Online Calendar:
Open your iMagic software

Click Web Bookings then Create/Upload web bookings

IMPORTANT NOTES: There is anywhere from a 5 to 15 minute delay between the time you send your update and when changes will appear on your calendar. Be sure you have the same number of rooms selected to be in your iMagic update as you have in your Availability Online account.
